Yes!   Shadow Shopper Pty Ltd a mystery shopping company, and have been in business since 2003. We have many thousands of certified shoppers - and many thousands more on our 'Do Not Use' list. Getting good, reliable shoppers is an ongoing problem. We are not short of applicants or even qualified shoppers, but we are always short of really good shoppers that we can trust to consistently do a great job.


We realised that many mystery shopper applicants were not presenting themselves in a professional way and were getting put on the 'Do Not Use' right away even though they passed the Certification Test. We also realised that many shoppers were not improving as they did more assignments - in fact, the opposite! And after doing a few reports that could have been better, they were also relegated to the 'Do Not Use' list and their work given to a preferred mystery shopper.


We recognised that there was a lack of information about how mystery shopping really worked, and that shoppers did not understand the business from a mystery shopping company's point of view. We decided to remedy that - so we wrote Inside Mystery Shopping!
